Bub

Bub joins us from The Children of Boggy Hollow. He is a 19 inch reborn newborn. He is my little zombie baby.

Bub is attached to Samael, and they just go together. They seem to have energy when they are together.

Bub had a little accident when I was playing around with pacifiers. I felt Bub needed a paci for some reason. Even if it does cover his smile. The blood around his mouth rubbed off, but a good lesson for me for future dolls. I don’t think he is missing much though. I guess I like him a little better without it.

I love little zombie babies and cannot wait to add more to my collection. Thank you, Debbie, over at Boggy Hollow, you are an awesome artist and thank you for working with me,

Samael

Welcome Samael, he comes from The Children of Boggy Hollow. He is a 22 inch reborn doll who is very cuddly and fun to hold.

He is a cute little vampire and his paint is fantastic. His veining is wonderfully done but hard to get a good pic of it.

I am enjoying the reborns because of their size. I still love LDD’s and plan on still collecting them but these babies are more satisfying to me as a collector.

Thank you Debbie over at Boggy Hollow, he is a wonderful doll. Up next, meet his brother Bub. 🙂

Mud!!

The scratch coat of mud is the current project.

First, we sift the mud.

Then it gets sprayed on the wall.

And here is what it looks like when dried.

The scratch coat helps seal the wall, protecting the straw from water and critters. It also helps seal the straw so the wood stove can go in. This will help heat the house a bit so it’s more comfortable to work on the interior during the winter months.

In the spring, the other two layers of mud will go over the scratch coat.

The last bale

Today marks the last bale to go up. It’s been a long time coming but I’m so proud of what The Pig has been able to accomplish. Thank you to everyone who helped!

New keyboard

Testing a new Logitech bluetooth keyboard. Hope this makes writing in this blog easiler. Seems to be, it has a nice feel to it and the keys are not too smooshed together. Also, it has a nice click to the keys. I think this will be a big upgrde for me as i can type a lot faster on this than the touch screen for longer posts. Nice!!

Saturday Fun Day!!

This weekend was awesome!! We started putting up the bales on the walks. Everyone came up to help and it was great getting to visit. My dad even came up to help, he enjoyed using the hook to pull the bales down from the stacks.J helped split the bales. And A.
